Job summary

JCFS Chicago is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This full-time position requires working Monday through Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with compensation starting at $20.00 per hour and potential increases based on experience.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Training will be provided for staffing operational needs, with additional benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) plans.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working between Rogers Park and Skokie during assigned work hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Train in and support all residential homes as staffing needs require.

This position pays $20.00 hourly rate with increases based on proven relatable experience.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• HCWR entry as DSP or CNA
• S-TOFHLA Passing score (Literacy test)
• Ability to work between Rogers Park and Skokie areas during assigned work hours.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities
• Must have reliable Transportation
