Sanga Corporation, Inc. provides care services in Phoenix, Glendale, Avondale, Mesa, and Tucson. We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our caring team, working with medical care teams and case workers to support clients in daily tasks and appointments.

Benefits include a full compensation/benefits package for 30+ hours/week, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holiday pay. Various shifts available, including 12s, 8s, and 3x12 options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of experience in human services preferred.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficient with the English language: written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to individuals per ISP, from basic tasks to medical appointment accompaniment.
• Assist with self-care, independence, mobility and learning as directed by ISP.
• Maintain environment cleanliness and confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate records and reliable attendance.

Salary Range $13.50 - $15.00 Hourly

Sanga Corporation, Inc. provides care services to individuals in the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) group homes in PHOENIX, GLENDALE, AVONDALE, MESA, and TUCSON. Our homes are ADHS- licensed, DDD Group Homes are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and 365 days a year. We are currently seeking great people who wants a rewarding career to join our dynamic team. We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals.

Our direct care professionals will work with medical care teams and case workers to provide care to our members ranging from basic household tasks to accompanying the members to their doctor’s appointment. Additional tasks will include:

• Providing assistance, monitoring and/or training to individuals in the area of self-care, self-direction, independence, mobility and learning as directed by the Individual Service Plan (ISP) in order to enhance each individual's skill development, health, freedom and personal dignity.
• Maintain cleanliness of environment
• Possesses effective communication skills
• Assists in behavior management/Crisis intervention. Provides health care including, but not limited to, medication administration, nutrition, allergies, meal planning, etc. Assists with safety skills including but not limited to basic first aid, fire drills, handle emergency situations
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy
• Meets requirements of federal, state, and local organizations. Processes and maintains meticulous record keeping
• Maintains optimum attendance and reliability
• Follows time and attendance guidelines and policies associated with time tracking
• Practices good judgment and has ability to evaluate and anticipate consequences
• Additional duties assigned as necessary

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications for our Direct Care Professionals include the below:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Six months of experience in human services preferred
• Valid Driver's licensed in good standing
• Successful clearance of backgroundchecks
• A reliable, responsible attitude
• A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do
• Ability to obtain/maintain a valid Driver's License
• Proficient with the English language: written and verbal
• interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
• Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds
• Ability to complete training programs and successfully pass associated tests
• Ability to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass a background check as required by state and federal regulations

• As a Caregiver / Direct Care Professional you are a mandatory reporter. If you suspect any type of abuse or neglect; you will contact the appropriate authorities, DCS/APS, and your direct supervisor.
• Completion of Incident Reports as directed.
