Job summary

Farmers is seeking a results-driven leader to manage a direct sales team selling multi-line insurance products primarily via inbound calls. You will guide day-to-day operations, hold the team accountable to goals, and align efforts with company initiatives and processes.

You will monitor performance, coach staff, and drive improvements in sales, customer experience, and compliance while collaborating with management on strategic plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Property & Casualty license required upon hire.
• Minimum five years of sales and call center experience required, preferably in direct sales.
• People leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision making skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence internal and external constituents.

Responsibilities

• Monitors team performance daily, weekly, and monthly across sales, customer experience, quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Recommends corrective actions to address performance gaps.
• Collaborates with management to create and implement sales and operational plans to improve performance and staff development.
• Ensures team members meet individual and collective performance goals.
• Manages performance processes, including disciplinary actions when needed.
• Keeps leadership informed about team performance and trends.
• Oversees daily operations of the team, schedules, and system access.
• Communicates product strategies and philosophies to the team.
• Investigates and resolves escalated customer issues promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
