Job summary

National Audubon Society is seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator, Direct Response, to support direct mail campaigns, data review, inventory management, and donor communications in a hybrid role based in New York, NY.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors, maintain documents, process invoices, and ensure timely execution of fundraising activities while upholding Audubon’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a closely related field.
• At least 1–2 years’ administrative support experience; nonprofit experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with database usage (Salesforce and/or EveryAction preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with Direct Response campaigns including campaign production, data review, and inventory management.
• Coordinate donor acknowledgements and inventory tracking; refresh copy as needed.
• Serve as primary contact for Supporter Care escalations and back up for emergencies.
• Provide administrative support to canvassing and telemarketing programs.
• Track premium inventory and postage accounts; reconcile expenses and invoices.
