Job summary

Royal Community Support seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Cape May County. The role focuses on promoting independence through one-on-one support, daily activities, and community engagement.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4pm–8pm, with responsibilities including safety, person-centered care, and assisting during outings. Valid US work status, driver’s license, and ability to lift are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
• Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work legally in the United States.
• Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.
• Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
• Role requires lifting for full assistance in home care.

We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the Cape May County area to join our team!

This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who are eager to support individuals in their journey toward independence.

Schedule: 5 days M-F 4p-8p

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities and personal goals, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Support participation in small outings and community-based activities.
• Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.
