Job summary

Midwest Healthcare & Wellness LLC is a direct-pay, direct primary care practice seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) to join our growing team in Warrensburg, Missouri. The role covers direct primary care, urgent care, and walk-in clinic duties, with in-office and telehealth delivery and weekend shifts required.

Experience with hormone optimization or wellness medicine is a plus, and strong clinical judgement is essential for our patient-centered model.

Qualifications

• Missouri FNP-C licensure or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain it.
• DOT certification preferred; willing to obtain if not already certified.
• Familiarity with direct primary care; willingness to learn the model.
• Experience in primary care; hormone therapy or wellness medicine a plus.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently under a collaborative practice agreement.
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, urgent care, and walk-in clinic services to a direct-pay patient panel.
• Manage hormone optimization and wellness treatment patients per established clinical protocols.
• Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret labs, and develop treatment plans.
• Evaluate and treat acute/urgent conditions for walk-in patients.
• Administer or oversee IV therapy and related wellness services.
• Deliver care via telehealth in addition to in-office visits.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation, including use of standardized dot phrases/templates.
• Follow practice protocols aligned with AUA and Endocrine Society guidelines (for hormone care).
• Ensure compliance with Missouri nonpharmacy dispensing rules, PDMP requirements, and collaborative practice agreement terms.
• Participate in patient triage and provider assessment processes per practice policy.
• Provide coverage during scheduled weekend hours.

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) to join our growing team. This role includes direct primary care, urgent care, and walk-in clinic duties, as well as involvement in our wellness services (hormone optimization, wellness treatments, IV therapy), delivered both in-office and via telehealth. Familiarity with direct primary care is important — candidates without DPC experience but willing to learn are welcome to apply. Weekend availability is required as part of the regular schedule.

Remote Telehealth-Only Option

We will also consider candidates who prefer to work fully remote, seeing patients exclusively via telehealth on a per-visit pay basis. This option offers flexibility for providers who do not wish to work in-office but still want to provide direct primary care and wellness services to our patients.
