Job summary

Moore is seeking a Screen Operator to produce and prepare direct mail components per USPS regulations and Moore quality standards. The role involves setting up machines, inputting data, and ensuring quality across registration, color, and perforations.

The position requires basic education and an ability to follow procedures in a fast-paced environment. The role is on-site, with responsibilities across production, quality control, housekeeping, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred with about 1 month of related experience or training.
• Reasoning ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret job cards, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Supports department goals and company policies; follows procedures and contributes to department performance.
• Performs production tasks: reads job cards, sets up machines, inputs data, and gathers materials.
• Monitors quality: checks registrations, colors, perforations, codes, and prepares samples for review.
• Maintains housekeeping: keeps a clean work environment and handles recyclable materials.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports injuries; works overtime and possible weekends.
