Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a direct lending professional to review consumer loans for quality and compliance across multiple platforms.

You will perform credit analysis, communicate decisions to customers, and assist with system updates while supporting daily Direct Lending operations. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of lending policies, and the ability to work with supervisors to resolve exceptions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Review Consumer loans via the Consumer LOS for quality assurance, adherence to compliance policies, regulatory policies, underwriting, policies, and documentation requirements.
• Review Consumer loans via various Consumer loan platforms.
• Perform credit analysis and investigations as outlined in bank policy and procedures.
• Communicate loan decisions to customers in a timely manner.
• Review exceptions and collaborate with supervisor/management to resolve.
• Assist Supervisors with testing loan system updates and daily Direct Lending operations.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations and ensure adherence to policies and controls.
• Actively cross-sell other bank loan and deposit products.
