Job summary

NSC in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Direct Hire Recruiting Manager to lead our direct-hire recruiting efforts across NSC and subsidiaries. You will coach recruiters, manage performance, and stay hands-on in the recruiting process.

In this role you will assign job orders, monitor activity and metrics, and partner with leadership to meet hiring needs. The ideal candidate excels at building high-performing teams and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Direct-hire/permanent placement recruiting experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing recruiters.
• Understanding of recruiting KPIs and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, accountable, and team-oriented approach.
• Experience supporting multiple business units or industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assigning and prioritizing direct-hire job orders across the recruiting team.
• Monitoring recruiting activity, pipelines, submissions, interviews, and placements.
• Establishing daily and weekly recruiting priorities and expectations.
• Tracking key recruiting metrics and using data to drive performance.
• Conducting regular one-on-one meetings and team check-ins.
• Coaching recruiters on sourcing, candidate qualification, follow-up, and recruiting strategy.
• Supporting recruiters with challenging or high-priority searches.
• Actively participating in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate engagement.
• Coordinating candidate, recruiter, hiring manager, and client calls.
• Partnering with leadership across NSC and its subsidiaries to understand hiring needs and priorities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve recruiting processes, productivity, and results.
• Supporting the onboarding, training, and continued development of recruiting team members.
• Helping build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
