Job summary

Classic Gears & Machining in Kaukauna, WI is seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Machine Operator to produce precision parts on CNC equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, loading materials, and performing first-piece and in-process inspections.

You will work with teammates to maintain quality, safety, and on-time delivery, with a 10% shift premium and hourly pay of $20–$25 based on experience. Equal opportunity employer; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
• CNC experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and follow written work instructions.
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision parts according to production requirements.
• Load and unload materials while monitoring machine operation throughout the production cycle.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Read blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers to verify product specifications.
• Identify quality concerns and notify supervisors or machinists when adjustments are needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with teammates to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed to support customer delivery schedules.
• Work overtime when necessary to help meet production demands.

What You'll Do
