Job summary

Successful candidates bring hands‑on manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read work instructions, quality plans, travelers and production data. Shift work is required with 8‑hour shifts and potential 12‑hour days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in skilled manufacturing, press operations, compaction molding, or similar hands‑on production work.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools; equipment setup or machine adjustment.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read graphs, charts, technical drawings, and quality documentation.
• Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and adjust mechanical and hydraulic press equipment.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Read and follow work instructions, travelers, and production documentation.
• Monitor process performance using standard work and SPC data.
• Identify quality issues and troubleshoot basic equipment or process concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
