Job summary

DuPont is seeking a Chemical Process Operator at the Pennsauken, NJ site to operate assigned equipment and follow Master Task List procedures, ensuring safety and quality.

You will monitor plant metrics, input data, perform basic troubleshooting, and assist with minor repairs, with a clear path to progression. Requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years chemical plant experience; forklift and math skills preferred; this is a non-union, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing/production technician experience in a chemical plant.
• Experience inspecting and operating mobile equipment (forklift).
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to make safety/quality/operational decisions with minimal supervision.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices.
• Operate process equipment after training and qualification.
• Monitor, collect and input plant metrics.
• Use troubleshooting to resolve process deviations and problems.
• Perform minor repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance.
