Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Harrisburg/Hummelstown area. You will provide direct care and support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and meal prep, while helping individuals build life skills and independence.

No prior experience is required as paid training is provided; the role offers meaningful work in human services with opportunities to grow within a mission-driven nonprofit.

• Must be 18 years old.
• Valid driver\'s license is required.
• Related experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.

Position: Direct Support Professional

Location: Hummelstown, PA, Middletown, PA, Harrisburg, PA

Pay Rate: Up to$17 /hr (Up to $19/hr with Enhanced Pay option)

Shifts available: 1st shift (6:30 am - 3 pm, no weekends and rotating weekends available)
