As a Direct Care Worker with Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be paired with one or more Members to help us deliver the best quality of in-home care to our clients.

Description:

As a Direct Care Worker, you report to the Client Services Coordinator to provide one-on-one care for our clients to ensure they stay happy and meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion at home.

Duties may include:

1. Companionship.
2. Personal care/hygiene.
3. Light Housekeeping.
4. Meal Prep.
5. Occasional Transportation.
6. Reporting Changes to client’s condition.
7. Other activities that are determined for specific client.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable Transportation (insurance).
• Valid Driver's License (3-year clean record).
• CPR/1st Aid Certification/TB Test.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Comprehensive background check.
• Fingerprint Clearance.
• DCW training certificate.

One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Hours:

Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week based on availability. Weekend availability required. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
