Job summary

AbaCares Services is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to join our team in York, PA. You will provide essential in-home support, including personal care, companionship, homemaking, and respite services, ensuring client safety, comfort, and well-being.

Qualified candidates are female, have reliable transportation, and can follow care plans while documenting care provided. Background screening and clearances are required; CNA is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with homemaking tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Monitor clients' safety and well-being, report changes and follow care plans.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.
