Job summary

All American Home Care LLC in Worthington, PA is seeking an experienced Direct Care Worker (DCW) for a part-time role in the local area. You will provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities in the consumer's home, following the care plan and promoting a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry, while maintaining confidentiality and dignity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience required.
• Home Health Aide training or related license preferred.
• Clear background check required.
• Valid ID/DL and Social Security.
• PPDs, TB, or Chest X-ray as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living including hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provides light housekeeping and laundry; prepares meals and maintains a clean, safe home.
• Maintains confidentiality and respects consumer autonomy and dignity.

Schedule

Mon-Sat 9A-5P

Position Overview

Provides consumer care services which entail personal care, light housekeeping or companion services to the consumer's home environment including assistance with the activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, meal preparation and laundry, sitter and other related duties and assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs or assists consumer with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including but not limited to: hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Treats each person as an individual with respect and dignity.
• Respects the rights of all consumers including their right to confidentiality and autonomy.
• Maintains the home in the optimum state of cleanliness and safety including but not limited to: light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, making beds, doing dishes, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year of caregiving experience required
• Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, Direct Care worker certification (Preferred)
• Clear background check
• Valid ID/DL
• Social Security
• PPDs, TB, or Chest X-ray
