Job summary

All American Home Care LLC is seeking a Direct Caregiver in Wind Gap, PA to help clients with daily living activities and promote independence and dignity. You will support comfort, safety, and well-being in private homes or home-care settings.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, companionship, and basic medical reminders while following care plans and communicating with family and healthcare professionals. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• HHA or CNA certification may be required by state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and using mobility aids.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with medication reminders (if permitted by regulations).
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living areas.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to appropriate personnel.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities if needed.
• Follow care plans and work closely with family members and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
