KW FAMILY LEGACY LLC is seeking a Direct Care Worker in Sacaton, AZ to provide personal care and assistance to clients. Your role is essential in ensuring dignified and compassionate support while helping clients with daily living activities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, relevant certifications, and strong interpersonal skills. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. Our commitment is to provide an exceptional environment for both clients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving preferred.
• Previous experience in direct care or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed.
• Document and report any changes in client behavior or health status.
• Support clients in social and recreational activities.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving preferred.
• Previous experience in direct care or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathetic and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

The schedule is still undergoing changes by the member's guardian, but 40 hours a week is guaranteed. Member will also be attending a DTA soon, transportation will not be required. Member lives on a reservation.
