Job summary

ExpertCare is looking for Direct Care Workers to provide 1:1 support in clients' homes across Southeast Michigan. You will help with daily activities, encourage skill-building, and accompany recipients to community activities to grow independence.

We offer full and part-time roles with paid training, flexible schedules, and a straightforward virtual interview process to welcome compassionate, dependable teammates.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care and support in clients' homes.
• Assist recipients with daily living activities and skill-building.
• Support clients in community outings to reinforce goals.
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes to supervisors.
