Job description

Training Program

BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a forty (40) hour training program that covers basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for a Direct Care Worker, DCW, graduates to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs.

Qualifications

• Complete the 40-hour Direct Care Worker Course provided by BAYADA (if no experience)
• Reliable transportation

Job Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Range of motion/exercises
• Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal prep, bed making
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
