Job summary

Lifesteps is seeking a Full-Time Direct Care Supervisor for Community Homes in Bethel Park. The role oversees day-to-day activities, supervises staff, and ensures residents are treated with dignity and supported to live as independently as possible.

The position follows a two-week rotating schedule. Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma, driver’s license, and required certifications or equivalent experience in human services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED plus three (3) years' experience in a human service or related field
• Current driver's license
• Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire
• First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire
• Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience in a human service, Special Education or related field
• Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience in a human service or related field
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of regulations 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 (or equivalent) regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee and handle the day-to-day activities of the Community Home.
• Direct supervision of all house staff and functioning as part of the direct care team.
• Provide high level of quality care while promoting independence and dignity for individuals.

Direct Care Supervisor

Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Community Homes(Direct Care) Supervisor in the Bethel Park area.

Position Summary:

The Supervisor provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. Improves the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and handling the day-to-day activities of the Community Home. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of all house staff. The Supervisor functions as a Residential Companion and is part of the direct care team.

This full-time position works a two week rotating schedule of:

Week 1

7am to 3pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

Week 2

7am to 3pm Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years' experience working in a human service or related field
