Job summary

Lifesteps Inc. in Kittanning, PA is hiring a Direct Care Substitute to support adults with disabilities in a residential setting. This flexible role offers weekend and weekday shifts to cover Daylight, Evening, or Overnight hours.

As a Direct Care Aide, you will assist with daily living skills, participate in activities, and ensure safety and comfort. No experience is required; paid training is provided, and compassionate individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living skills and home care tasks.
• Support cooking, cleaning, shopping, and personal care.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor safety.
• Help residents reach personal goals and independence.

Lifesteps is hiring Caregivers for the Kittanning and Worthington areas.

Lifesteps, a local human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is immediately hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in the Kittanning and Worthington PA.

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist adult individuals with their daily living skills and home care, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care assistance, medication administration, and goal attainment.

This very flexible substitute position works up to 19.5 a week. Available Shifts are: Daylight 7 am to 3 pm OR Evenings 3 pm to 11 pm OR Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides and direct support professionals welcome!

Position Requirements:
