Job summary

Royal Community Support is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an individual living in Frenchtown, NJ, in a community-based setting. The role focuses on one-on-one support, promoting independence, daily living skills, and participation in activities within the community.

The DSP will work part-time, with flexible scheduling and approximately 10 hours per week, including 5-hour shifts. Starting pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, based on experience and service plan complexity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills (bathing, dressing, grooming).

Position Overview

This is a community‑based position. The DSP will provide support in the individual’s home and assist with safe, structured participation in community activities.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently in a one‑on‑one setting.

Seeking a DSP to help him maintain his personal space, assisting with errands, and providing companionship and transportation/support for short outings and day trips centered around activities he enjoys.
