Job summary

Sunshine-Residential-Homes is seeking a Direct Care Specialist to support foster children aged 3–18 in our group homes across Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Phoenix, and Avondale, AZ. You will provide daily care, transportation, enrichment activities, and emotional support to a mix of sibling groups in a nurturing home environment.

The role follows a Tue–Sat schedule with evenings and includes responsibilities such as engaging children in activities and ensuring their safety.

We are seeking a Direct Care Specialist to work with foster children between the ages of 3-18 in our group homes located in Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Phoenix, and Avondale. Most of our group homes house sibling groups and a standard cohort. As a Direct Care Specialist, you will provide daily care, transportation, enrichment activities, and emotional support to the children.

Schedule

Tuesday to Saturday

Tuesday: 4:30PM-10:00PM

Wednesday & Thursday: 3:00PM-10:00PM

Friday: 3:30PM-10:00PM

Saturday: 8:00AM-10:00PM

Pay

$19-$20 per hour

Requirements

• - Must have at least 1-year verifiable experience working directly with children
• - Must have 21 or older
• - Must have a VALID AZ driver license with CLEAN 5 Year driving record
• - Must have a level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card or be eligible to obtain one
• - Must have personal vehicle and proof of auto insurance
