Job summary

Sunshine-Residential-Homes is seeking a Direct Care Specialist to support foster children ages 3-18 in our Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Phoenix, and Avondale group homes. You will provide daily care, transportation, enrichment activities, and emotional support to children in a nurturing home-like setting.

Schedule runs Sunday to Thursday with varied evening hours. Pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, and the role requires a valid AZ driver license, clean driving record, and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of verifiable experience working directly with children.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid AZ driver license with a clean 5-year driving record.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for foster children aged 3-18 in group homes.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and outings.
• Coordinate enrichment activities and recreational programs.
• Offer emotional support and a stable, nurturing environment.

We are seeking a Direct Care Specialist to work with foster children between the ages of 3-18 in our group homes located in Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Phoenix, and Avondale. Most of our group homes house sibling groups and a standard cohort. As a Direct Care Specialist, you will provide daily care, transportation, enrichment activities, and emotional support to the children.

Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday

Sunday: 8:00AM-10:00PM

Monday: 2:00PM-10:00PM

Tuesday: 3:00PM-10:00PM

Wednesday & Thursday: 4:30PM-10:00PM

Pay:

$19-$20 per hour
