Job summary

Sunshine-Residential-Homes is seeking a Direct Care Specialist to support foster children ages 3-18 in our Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Phoenix, and Avondale group homes. You will provide daily care, transportation, enrichment activities, and emotional support to children in a nurturing home-like setting.

Schedule runs Sunday to Thursday with varied evening hours. Pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, and the role requires a valid AZ driver license, clean driving record, and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of verifiable experience working directly with children.
Must be 21 years or older.
Valid AZ driver license with a clean 5-year driving record.
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility to obtain one.
Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide daily care for foster children aged 3-18 in group homes.
Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and outings.
Coordinate enrichment activities and recreational programs.
Offer emotional support and a stable, nurturing environment.
