Job summary

The role includes personal care tasks, supporting daily living, documenting plans, and coordinating with professionals. You will accompany core people on activities, remain organized, and uphold dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with, learn from, and relate to people with intellectual disabilities.
• Desire to work in an interdenominational Christian community.
• Independence, initiative and maturity in team settings.
• Trustworthy and responsible.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to learn basic nursing care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care supports and empower core people.
• Assist with personal care needs (clothing, hygiene, eating, etc.).
• Observe rights and dignity of others and maintain safety.
• Document all necessary information and coordinate with doctors and professionals.
• Participate in team routines, training, and household tasks.
• Accompany core people on vacations and community trips.
