Job summary

Louisiana Health & Rehab. Options (LHRO) in Baton Rouge is seeking Direct Service Workers to provide individualized care under the supervision of the Program Director.

You will implement the prescribed plan, assist clients with daily activities, and support group and individual learning opportunities. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are at least 18 years old (23+ preferred), and possess reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age 18, with preference for 23 or older.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow the Individual Plan of Care for each client.
• Supervise self-administration of medication where applicable.
• Provide counseling and support under supervision from Program Director/House Manager.
• Transport residents and supervise activities and household tasks.
• Record incidents and maintain safety and cleanliness.
