Shamin Hotels Master in Hopewell, VA is seeking an entry level Direct Care Staff (CNA/PCA) to provide personal care to residents during shifts. The role supports nursing staff and requires compassionate interaction, documentation, and adherence to care plans.

Responsibilities include daily activities, meal assistance, and light housekeeping. Must hold CNA or equivalent certification; CPR/First Aid preferred, with prior eldercare experience valued. This is an on-site, full-time hourly position.

Qualifications

• Current certifications as CNA, GNA, HHA, or PCA; CPR and First Aid.
• One year experience with older adults is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care for residents per care plan and assist with activities, meals, and light housekeeping.
• Read and document in 24-Hour Log and care notes at shift end.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain safety protocols.
• Assist with feeding, grooming, and mobility; monitor residents’ condition and report changes.
• Assist with laundry and general cleaning as needed.
