Job summary

You will educate patients and families, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team while ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Continuous learning and patient advocacy are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days for applicable units.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days for applicable units.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in North Carolina and active licensure as RN.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments and evaluate patient responses.
• Monitor vital signs and intervene as needed with sound clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity.
• Document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
