Sentara Health CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit. Shift: Weekend Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with premium shift differential.

The role includes assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, medication administration, and family communication on a 24-bed telemetry unit. New grads are welcome; starting pay for new grads is competitive, with sign-on and relocation assistance for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• RN-Associate’s Degree, RN-Bachelor’s Degree, RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients and performing rounding checks.
• Administering medications and communicating with families.
• Maintaining telemetry monitoring on the unit and ensuring patient safety.
