Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA seeks a motivated Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Surgical Unit. Night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours weekly, 3/12s, with a $20K sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

The role involves bedside care, medication administration, patient admission and family communication, teamwork with surgeons and a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities for leadership and career growth.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia or Compact Multi-State in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• RN degrees accepted: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Diploma, or Master’s in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients and performing rounds checks.
• Administer medications and communicate with patient families.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary team for postoperative care.
