True Care Services is seeking Direct Services Providers (DSP) in Anchorage, Alaska. The role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and the community, promoting independence and safety with person-centered care.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, paid training, and competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour, DOE. If you are reliable, compassionate, and able to pass background checks, apply to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a federal and state background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support based on each individual's service plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation as needed.
• Support individuals with community integration, recreational activities, employment, and appointments.
• Provide transportation using company or approved personal vehicles.
• Administer medications according to company policy and state regulations (training provided if needed).
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Encourage independence while promoting choice, dignity, and respect.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, guardians, case managers, and healthcare professionals.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and state regulations.
• Respond appropriately during emergencies and report incidents promptly.
