Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential setting in Delmont, PA. The role involves assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, meals, grooming, bathing, and transportation to appointments.

Overnight shifts are available from 11 pm to 7 am, with part-time options and flexible scheduling. Paid training is provided, and prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required
• No experience necessary; Paid training provided
• Experienced home health aides and related roles welcome

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with disabilities in activities of daily living (dressing, meal preparation, bathing, transport to appointments)
• Cook and serve meals and help with home care tasks
• Medication administration
• Support community outings and activities

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers)

assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties

can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
