Lifesteps is hiring a Direct Care Aide for the Indiana, PA, and Homer City, PA areas.

Lifesteps, a local human service agency with over 100 years of experience, is immediately seeking compassionate staff to work with adults with disabilities in a residential setting in Indiana, PA, and Homer City, PA.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting adults with daily living skills and home care tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care, medication administration, and goal setting.
• Transporting individuals using agency vehicles to activities, appointments, and outings.

This position offers up to 19.5 hours per week, typically 1-2 shifts. Shifts are flexible: Day (7 am - 3 pm), Evening (3 pm - 11 pm), or Overnight (11 pm - 7 am). Part-time hours with flexible scheduling are also available.

No experience is necessary; paid training is provided. Experienced home health aides and support professionals are welcome!

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
