Job summary

A healthcare services company is seeking a Direct Care team member in Chicopee, MA. You will support clients' activities of daily living and promote their independence through community integration. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to pass certifications. Qualifications

• Experience in the Human Services field is a plus.
• Ability to pass certification for CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care.
• Ability to pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP).
• Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check.
• Approved criminal background check (CORI).

Responsibilities

As a Direct Care team member you will be supporting clients' activities of daily living, integrating them in the community and promoting independence, providing nutritional support, administering medication as needed, helping clients in areas such as life-skills, money management, job development, self-advocacy, and problem solving, and regular outings such as trips to the park, library, or nearby shopping centers.

Qualifications
