Job summary

ViaQuest HealthCare Services is seeking a Direct Care Aide to support individuals with developmental disabilities in an intermediate care facility. Training is provided in full, so no prior experience is required.

You will provide direct care, assist with daily activities, meals, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment. Full-time roles include paid training, medical/dental/vision, a 401k, PTO, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in daily activities.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Direct Care Aide
/ $17.30-$18.30 per hour

At ViaQuest HealthCare Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in an intermediate care facility. Training for this position is provided in its entirety, so no experience is required.

Requirements for this position include:

• Must be at least 18 years old

  • No OVI/DUI's, reckless operations, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over posted limit
  
  
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years or more than 5 points
  
  
  
  

Reliable vehicle with active insurance

Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and assist individuals as needed
