Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Newark, OH. Earn $17.75-$18.75 per hour with comprehensive paid training, including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.

No prior experience required as we provide full training. Full-time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance, 401k, paid time off, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, annual pay increases, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle you’re willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest’s Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities — foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities In their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
