Job summary

Road to Responsibility in Taunton, MA is seeking a bilingual support assistant to provide on-the-job coaching and hands-on help in community settings. You will work 1:1 and with groups to develop job readiness, workplace behavior, and functional skills.

You will partner with Case Managers, track progress, assist with transportation, and help implement employment and behavioral support plans while modeling professionalism in diverse work environments.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Khmer and English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Willing to undergo background checks (CORI, related agencies).

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-job coaching and 1:1/group support at community businesses and program sites.
  • Help individuals develop job readiness and workplace behavior.

Job Details: Location: Taunton, MA; Position Type: Full Time; Education Level: High School; Salary Range: $19.50 per hour; Shift: Day. We are looking to hire someone fluent in Khmer and English to help assist an individual in this program.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
  • Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
  • Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.

Language Skills

Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
