Job summary

Road to Responsibility in Norwell, MA is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Staff for full-time, in-home and community-based care. A $2,500 sign-on bonus and robust benefits accompany this hands-on role focused on assisting with daily living activities and medical appointments.

You’ll administer medications, maintain a safe home, and collaborate with families and care providers to support individuals in thriving environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Successful completion and maintenance of mandated trainings including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning relevant agencies.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, hygiene, and routines.
• Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance as needed.
• Assist with and attend medical appointments and community activities.
• Implement individualized support and behavioral plans.
• Administer medications in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
• Provide transportation as required.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers.
• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for those you support.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
