Job summary

Quantum seeks a seasoned senior leader to drive global sourcing, supply planning, supplier management, and cost optimization across our hardware and technology platforms.

The role partners with contract manufacturers, engineers, and product teams to deliver quality, on-time delivery, and scalable operations while building high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, manufacturing, sourcing, or operations.
• Experience managing global suppliers and contract manufacturing partners.
• Proven success driving operational improvements, cost reductions, and supply chain performance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global sourcing, supply planning, supplier management, logistics, and inventory optimization activities.
• Partner with contract manufacturers to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Drive supply chain and operational improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and business performance.
• Develop and execute cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, value engineering, and data-driven decision making.
• Improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and working capital effectiveness.
• Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including component availability, single-source dependencies, and logistics disruptions.
• Develop operational metrics, KPI dashboards, and governance processes to drive accountability and performance.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product Management, Finance, Service, Quality, and Sales to achieve company objectives.
• Build and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Experience with cost-management disciplines such as should-cost analysis, value engineering, or total cost of ownership methodologies.
• Experience leading operational transformation, automation, or digital supply chain initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP, planning, procurement, or supply chain management systems.
