Job description

At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

Skills and Competencies
  • Deep understanding of banking workflows and the operating economics behind them, in areas such as commercial lending, credit risk, financial crime and compliance, or portfolio monitoring—who does the work, what it costs, and what a bank values when it is done well
  • Direct experience in at least one AI-driven transformation, at a bank or at a provider serving banks, with a practical view of what a successful outcome looks like, what drives adoption, and what stalls it
  • Demonstrated ability to design and quantify commercial models, including usage-based, value-based, or outcome-based constructs, and to build the business case across client value, cost to serve, margin, and risk
  • Strong strategy toolkit: structuring ambiguous problems, hypothesis-led analysis, and decision-oriented documents that move senior leaders from debate to commitment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with a track record of influencing without direct authority across product, data, commercial, and client-facing teams
  • Ability to assess capability gaps and evaluate build, buy, and partner options; exposure to partnership structuring or commercial due diligence is a plus
  • Working knowledge of model risk, auditability, and governance expectations in regulated financial institutions, and how they shape autonomous and agentic delivery
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands‑on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field required
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
