Job summary

Kinder Growth Therapy, based in New Jersey, is seeking compassionate professionals for in-home DIRFloortime therapy with autistic children. This part-time role requires reliable transportation, a background check, and the ability to engage with children in a home setting.

Training and supervision are provided to support growth and success. Most sessions occur after school and on weekends, with flexible scheduling to fit your life.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to engage physically with children (e.g., playing on the floor).
• Pass Federal and State background checks.
• Valid form of ID.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, psychology, child development, etc.).
• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish-English).
• Preferred: Experience with the DIRFloortime® model.

Responsibilities

• Provide playful, 1:1 DIRFloortime therapy to autistic children
• Build strong, trusting relationships through emotionally attuned play
• Collect light session data using your phone or tablet
• Collaborate with and receive ongoing support from credentialed supervisors

• Autism interventions (RBT/Behavioral technician, autism support specialist, ABA therapist, other DIRFloortime experience

Schedule

• We ask each employee and family to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours per day.
• Most sessions take place after school (between 3–8 PM on weekdays) and anytime on weekends.
