Job summary

Kinder Growth Therapy in the United States seeks a dedicated in-home DIRFloortime therapist to support autistic children with playful, 1:1 sessions. Build trusting relationships through emotionally attuned play and collect light session data.

You’ll join a collaborative team with supervisors, enjoy flexible weekday hours and weekend options, and mileage reimbursement. Reliable transportation and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and ability to pass Federal and State background checks.
• Ability to engage physically with children (e.g., playing on the floor).
• Working phone or tablet to collect session data.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, child development, etc.
• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish-English).
• Preferred: DIRFloortime experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Reliable transportation

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, psychology, child development, etc.)
• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish-English)
• Preferred: Experience with the DIRFloortime® model

Experience (1+ year required)

• Childcare (babysitting, daycare, preschool teacher, assistant teacher)
• Special education (educational settings, special needs)
• Developmental intervention (early intervention)
• Autism interventions (RBT/Behavioral technician, autism support specialist, ABA therapist, other DIRFloortime experience

Schedule

• We ask each employee and family to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours per day.
• Most sessions take place after school (between 3–8 PM on weekdays) and anytime on weekends.
