Meridell Achievement Center, a 134-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility northwest of Austin, seeks a Director of Business Development to lead Community Education and drive strategic growth for youth services.
Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with senior staff, you will design, implement, and refine goals, policies, and systems for the Business Development Department while tracking market data and trends to inform plans.
Meridell Achievement Center is a 134‑bed, seclusion‑free psychiatric residential treatment facility located northwest of Austin. Our 60‑acre campus features mature oaks, rolling hills, walking paths and outdoor spaces. We have seven unique living units separated by gender, age, and development needs, and offer a swimming pool, gymnasium, sports court and playing fields. We provide 24‑hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 10 to 17 with customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs to teach patients to moderate their behavior, manage emotions and improve social functioning.

The Director of Business Development, as an essential member of the Senior Management Staff, directs Community Education/Business Development efforts and continuously refines the facility’s business development plan. In collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and other senior staff, the Director designs, implements, and directs strategic goals, policies, procedures, and systems while overseeing the Business Development Department. This position reports, analyzes, and presents current market data and trends and recommends and implements appropriate strategic plans.
