Medtronic is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer for Dip Molding Centers of Excellence to lead enterprise manufacturing technology strategy across sites in the US. The role focuses on capability development, technology advancement, and multi-year roadmaps, partnering with R&D, Quality, and Operations to scale high-quality production.

The position prefers Dexter, MI or another US site with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in regulated manufacturing environments.
Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing, product development, quality, and operations.
Experience establishing manufacturing standards across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Lead the Dip Molding Center of Excellence and establish enterprise-wide manufacturing technology strategies, capability plans, and multi-year roadmaps.
Collaborate with Operating Units, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to align investments with business needs.
Define and maintain standards for dip molding equipment, tooling, materials, automation, process controls, and quality systems.
Provide technical leadership to manufacturing operations through process optimization, yield improvement, defect reduction, equipment enhancements.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure processes and equipment meet product requirements.
Evaluate emerging dip molding technologies and prioritize opportunities for development and adoption.
Lead feasibility assessments, proof-of-concept activities, and technology readiness efforts.
Drive implementation of new manufacturing technologies with regulatory and quality alignment.
