Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 1 year of related experience or 3 years in lieu of degree.
• 1 year of experience with/in technical molding process and validation.
• Experience in Medical Manufacturing or Medical devices.
• Operating molding peripheral automation equipment.
• Supporting molding process and machine validation activities for new product introductions and process improvements.
• Scientific molding, mold design and metrology.
• Understanding dimensional/functional impacts of molded parts and coordinating with R&D to assess risks.
• Process development to establish and test parameter ranges prior to validation.
• Reviewing equipment operations to update, amend, and create procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on molding process and equipment issues.
• Review output and performance data to identify production trends and daily challenges.
• Execute Engineering Studies, EWOs, validations, and change control.
• Create technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfer to operators and tech associates.
• Handle top losses within the manufacturing unit, develop and implement plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE.
• Follow good manufacturing practices.
