Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer for the Dip Molding Center of Excellence Strategy Lead, based in Dexter, MI or a U.S. Medtronic site with travel to Dexter as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 8+ years relevant experience.
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing technologies within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving manufacturing, product development, quality, and operations stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dip Molding Center of Excellence and establish enterprise-wide manufacturing technology strategies, capability plans, and roadmaps.
• Define and maintain standards for dip molding equipment, tooling, materials, automation, process controls, and quality systems.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing operations through process optimization, yield improvement, and defect reduction.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturing processes and equipment meet product requirements.
• Evaluate emerging dip molding technologies and prioritize opportunities for development and adoption.
• Lead feasibility assessments, proof-of-concept activities, and technology readiness to accelerate deployment.
