Job summary

The Leonard on Beverly, a premier luxury senior living community in Los Angeles, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join our dining team. You will train, schedule, direct and manage the dining room staff to ensure residents receive top quality service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• AA degree or Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Kinesiology, Recreation Therapy, or Health Promotion preferred.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience including training and budgeting.
• Serve Safe certificate preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Meet health requirements, including TB.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise dining staff in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and core values.
• Manage, schedule, evaluate and direct Servers.
• Ensure that Servers work efficiently and professionally at all times.
• Ensure a sanitary dining room complying with all health and safety codes, licensing regulations and policies and procedures regarding the proper handling and serving of food.
• Supervise and direct the cleaning of all dining and food service areas.
• Develop and implement training, policies and processes to ensure that Servers are properly groomed, dressed and using proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables courteously, and professionally.
• Survey residents to determine their satisfaction levels with the service provided and make corrections as necessary.
• Ensure that all residents are greeted and seated properly, making extra efforts to integrate new residents making them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Manage and track budget spending and goals.
• Display a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform or clothing and name tag when working.
• Represent the Clearwater Living principles and core values on a daily basis.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required
