Job summary

Paul’s Run Retirement Community in Northeast Philadelphia is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard to join its team and safeguard residents and staff. The role involves patrolling buildings and grounds, monitoring CCTV, and assisting at the front desk.

The position is scheduled for 4:00pm–12:00am on an every-other-Friday/Saturday/Sunday basis, with a high school diploma or equivalent required. Paul’s Run emphasizes caring for residents and a supportive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Patrol community buildings and grounds including parking lots to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry and to protect residents, employees, and visitors.
• Permit visitors entering the Main Lobby area after signing in.
• Monitor CCTV in Security Office to detect unauthorized persons in restricted areas.
• Operate computer and phone at the front desk and provide security assistance.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Patrol community buildings and grounds including all parking lots to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry and to protect the welfare and safety of residents, employees, and visitors.
• Permit visitors or other authorized persons coming into the Main Lobby area to enter property after signing in.
• Monitor closed circuit T.V. systems located in the Security Office in Main Lobby to detect unauthorized person(s) in hallways and other restricted areas.
• Able to operate computer, phone, and provide security at the front desk.

Shift/Schedule available:

• Part-Time 4:00pm-12:00am every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
